The Peak and Madame Tussauds | HK Day 1

Our first destination for this HK trip, the Peak and Madame Tussauds.

We arrived before lunch and we tried to familiarize ourselves with the train map during our siesta time.

Here are some airport/bus shots :)

After lunch, we decided to go to the peak because we want to see the top view of HK from the peak during daytime and night time.

Me and Sab just outside the Peak Tram station. Too cold and windy, perfect for Sab's outfit!

There is a tram which goes from the lower part of the area to the peak. We got a little confused with the bus stop and ending up riding a bus going to the peak. But we still tried the tram but the the other way around.

Actually, there are many things that you can do at The Peak. They offer a Sky Terrace where you can see the HK view perfectly. Medyo sneaky lang kame and we know na tram, view at Madame Tussauds lang talaga gusto namin. For all the information you need to know about The Peak, you can visit their website here.

Of course, we wanted the touristy photo showing the great view from The Peak!

Good thing there's a mini mall just outside the arrival area of the tram. We bought some pasalubong and it also led us to Madame Tussauds.

Madame Tussauds is a wax museum showcasing popular personalities from television, movies, sports, science, politics, music, etc. At first we were so excited but there were too many wax figurines that we felt too tired at the end of the tour. Some of them we don't know too, I think they're local stars from HK.

 Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
(Look at Sab's face! Maybe she's wondering if these are real people!)

Madame Tussauds is open everyday and you can buy tickets online and get good deals. Also, you can buy combo/package tickets fro Madame Tussauds and the tram.  Check out their website to know more about this wax museum and ticket prices--- Madame Tussauds.

We definitely enjoyed our first day. The cold weather, the touristy feel, seeing personalities (kahit wax lang sila). Ubos energy but definitely worth all the pagod. More HK adventures on my next post!

Fabulously,
